To send a new PM, click the "Send New Message" link in the menu on the left of your screen. To check for new PM's you can refresh your browser. REFERRAL LINK
~ THE BASICS - TERMINOLOGY ~
PM = Personal Message
They are very similar to emails. To reply to a PM just click the REPLY button. To send the PM to someone else, click FORWARD.
To access your FLR Inbox, click the "Private Messages" link near the top right corner of every page.
When you see something that looks like this, it has been quoted.
TR = Trade Rating
Every time you complete a trade (whether you’re on the paying or receiving end), you will receive 1 TR point. TR points for all users can be found here for the time being:
http://www.freelunchroom.com/board/s...ad.php?t=71365
Remember, No CC sites DO NOT count towards your TR.
THREAD
A thread is sort of like an email. Every time you send a new email…it’s like posting a new thread. Every time you reply to an email…it’s like replying to a thread. When someone says, “Try to keep it in one thread” what they mean is don’t keep clicking “NEW TOPIC” every time you want to respond to a thread. In a nutshell, every time you click the “NEW TOPIC” button you are creating a new thread (i.e. email). If you are reading a thread and want to reply to it…use the QUICK REPLY box on the bottom of the page so it stays in the same thread.
BUMP
Bring Up My Post…every time you BUMP a post that you have written in the forums, it will automatically bring it up to the top spot (under the “Announcements” and “Sticky” threads). You must either click POST REPLY or use the QUICK REPLY box (at the bottom of every page) in the thread you want to BUMP.
PAID ON GREEN
You will receive your payment once you are GREEN. All sites have a box near the top of the page that will say, "CONGRATULATIONS! You have met the offer requirements!" as soon are you are 100% green.
Thanks to MovinForward see this post:
http://freelunchroom.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1793
PAID ON APPROVAL
You will receive your payment once the other trader's site has been APPROVED for payment.
See MovinForward's link above for further information.
PAID ON PAYOUT or CASHOUT
You will receive your payment once the other trader has RECEIVED his/her prize.
GONE YELLOW
You’ve signed up (been referred) to the site, but haven’t yet completed any offers.
GONE GREEN
You’ve signed up (been referred) and completed the required amount of offers on the site. This is when you will see the "CONGRATULATIONS! You have met the offer requirements!" message.
“In order to go green for someone, all you need to do is complete your offer requirements after you've signed up under their referral link. You DO NOT need to complete the referral requirements.”
GONE RED/GREY - DQ'd = DISQUALIFIED - PUT ON HOLD
“You have violated one or more of the site’s terms and conditions.”
The following is some great info posted by wookie0611:
If you violated any terms of service (tos) you will go red. If you use fraudulent info when signing up, you will go red. If you complete the same offer more than once you will go red. If your computer is runnin proxies you will go red (aol and netzero are proxy users!) If you sign up for an offer and cancel right away you will go red. Also, as with the offers, you can only register at each site once, there are sites that have more than one in their network. For example, if you sign up at cash.znz.com you are also allowed to sign up at paypal.znz.com
The link a trader needs you to click on in order to get credit for his referral.
It will look something like this:

~ IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ~
You cannot use AOL/CompuServe as your ISP! "If you use AOL this is a problem, because AOL uses proxies when they connect you to the web, and it will appear to be a fraudulent user to the sites you are trying to complete.”
Click here to see if you’re using a proxy Proxy Test
Please be aware that Netscape is also using proxy's which are NOT showing up when you do the above proxy test.
“WiFi hotspots are public internet connections and I wouldn't recommend using them. Proxies are usually AOL, netzero, and some DSL providers, you'll have to ask the ISP if they use proxies. Otherwise you'd have to blatantly know you're using a proxy by configuring your browser to connect through a proxy server. Some sites will not allow you to login to their site from another location, it depends, work locations are questionable. Checking your sites from another local computer is fine.” (Per Gladiator)
“If you use any dialup internet service provider, please check with a mod before completing any trades.” (Per ILoveToys)

You need to be Paypal verified. This is how you are going to get paid. If you’re not familiar with Paypal, go to www.paypal.com and check it out. It’s free to sign up and free to use!
•You cannot sign up for any site more than once! You CAN sign up for Examplesite.com - example site Resources and Information. and Examplesite.com - example site Resources and Information. and even Examplesite.com - example site Resources and Information. but you CANNOT sign up for any of them TWICE. This is considered FRAUD! (These are not actual links)
•The same thing goes for ALL OFFERS. Once you signed up for an offer (no matter where or when you signed up for it) you CANNOT sign up for it again…NO EXCUSES! I made the mistake of signing up for a ton of free offers my first couple of days because my offers weren’t crediting (I didn’t read a whole lot…shame on me)! I didn’t realize that I was essentially taking money out of my own pocket. I NEVER GOT PAID for any of those offers (which is no one’s fault but my own)…and now I can’t use them to complete a referral for anyone else…they’re what I refer to as “WASTED OFFERS” and let me tell you…IT STINKS!
•WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN… Use a notebook or spreadsheet…colored paper…napkins…anything you can find; just make sure you keep track of EVERYTHING! Write down the offer name, when you completed it, how long the trial is, how much it's going to cost you (if anything), the phone # or email to the company...who you’re trading with…how much you are going to be paid and when…ANYTHING you think might be important! Keep GOOD NOTES because you WILL need to refer back to them at some point. When I complete an offer for someone, my notes look something like this:
04-04-07
Other Trader’s Name
The Site Name (where the offers are) and their referral link
What they are going to pay me and whether I’m getting paid on green, approval, payout, etc.
OFFER NAME - # of days in Trial – Cost (if any)
1-800 # or email to contact offer if needed
Any other misc. information I think might come in handy…sometimes I put the Membership ID# here if there is one. Sometimes I even put the website’s address in case I need to go there again.
•ALWAYS READ THE TOS(Terms of Sale – aka Terms & Conditions…Terms of Use)...You need to read this on EVERY SINGLE site and EVERY SINGLE offer. They are all similar, but trust me…the information is still important! It may take you a few minutes to find this...that’s normal. Just keep searching every page until you do…then read it.
•DO NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION ON HOW TO CANCEL AN OFFER
•DO NOT ASK THE OTHER TRADER WHICH OFFERS TO COMPLETE
•DO NOT TELL YOUR REFERRALS WHICH OFFERS TO COMPLETE

Easy Green Guide !
I highly recommend that you use Firefox for your browser. You can download it here:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Another thing you want to do before doing a bunch of offers is get an email address devoted
to freebie sites and offers specifically. Using one email address for all cuts down on fraud in
this opportunity and we all benefit from that. Also, the sites want you to use one email
address throughout their network, i.e. freebiesite.com, cash.freebiesite.com, bigscreentvs.freebiesite.com.
If you need to submit a request for credit manually, you will need to send in your confirmation
email from the offer that you did WITH HEADERS. For this reason, I suggest http://mail.com.
Disable your antivirus and spyware. There are many that say they get credit without this, I just always have disabled these. I also clear files, cookies, and history in my IE7 before doing offers with Firefox. Why take chances?
When you open Firefox and it asks you, make it your default browser, so you don't accidentally open an offer with a different browser.

Go through the offers and READ the Terms of Service (TOS) and decide which offers you want to do. Write them down on an index card in groups according to credit. And get a game plan. If you look at the offers and determine, "Hmm, I'm gonna have to do that offer that takes 3-5 days to credit to complete the site," then DO IT FIRST!
Then wait for that offer to credit before doing the other 1 or 2
"instant" offers. I've been pleasantly surprised with credit showing up 2-1/2 to 3 weeks later.
Close the TOS window and LOG OUT of the site!
Clear private data etc., REFRESH the page, then log in, click offers, click only one offer and do it, don't click back or anything else.
FOLLOW your cookies as you do the offer.
Click on PRIVACY and SHOW COOKIES.
The freebie site will put a cookie on your computer when you log in.
And More when you bring up the offer page.
And More cookies when you bring up the offer.
Make sure all your pages load completely.
1. Sign up for a trial offer, leave the confirmation page open until it fully loads and you receive a confirmation email.
2. Once you have the confirmation email, close the "trial offer page" not the site.
3. Leave the site up for up to 5 minutes. Refresh the site to see if you green and if not, log out of the site and then log back in to see if you have gone green.
4. Log back out, do not close it, clear cookies again.
5. Log back into the site.
6. Do another trial offer & repeat steps 1 thru 4.
7. If you click on a trial offer and decide not to do it, do steps 4 and 5.
These instructions have worked the best for me and my referrals. But you do have to have patience.
Instant doesn't always mean instant. Some instant offers can take days to credit. Once in a while you do an offer and never get credit. Save your emails, print out your confirmation(landing) pages. If you get to a landing page and it has another offer click "No Thanks," or you might not get your confirmation page.
If you do a couple offers and haven't received credit for them, stop and try to figure out why, they may show up the next day.
Of course, it's pretty standard with every trader, that if you later wind up going red, payment must be refunded. That shouldn't be a problem as long as you:
1. Are 18 years old or older.
2. Use correct information.
3. Are not using a proxy IP address.(AOL, public computer...)
4. Don't use prepaid credit cards.
5. Have credit on CC. Some offers don't charge you but will put a hold on the amount of their free product.
6. Don't cancel right away. You should be signing up for offers that you are interested in. Signing up with the intent to cancel constitutes fraud.
7. Don't use POBoxes.
8. Don't even bring up the site from another computer. Use one computer
always. Don't use another computer even to check if your credits have
come in yet.
9. Have only one account with one email address.(1 account per household)
10. Do not do any offers more than once. Be conscous of the fact that some offers have different Banners that are essentially the same offer, so you must look at the company name. There is more discussion of this in the Offer Discussion forum.
When you've completed some offers and are waiting for credit, send a PM
to your trader letting them know. If it's me, send me a PM. You may want
to take the time to read some more information about getting credit or get
to know the rules of the forum. You may want to start another site. Be sure
to leave enough offers available if you still need to complete more on a site
that you have started. More than enough.
Keep track of the offers you do, with all the information you can,
including the name of the company, so you don't accidentally sign up for the same offer twice.
Remember to READ through the TOS of each offer fully, so that you are aware
of all charges for the offer. The ones who read are the ones who succeed.
